Providing a safe space for children and families to

Grow Together

Tiny Green Plants

Seed to Tree Counseling provides holistic, strengths-based and trauma-informed counseling services to New Mexico children and families. Specialized therapy approaches include Infant Mental Health services (dyadic treatment of children 0-5 y.o. and their caregiver), art therapy, play therapy, and parenting classes. Seed to Tree also does Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) Brain Mapping assessments. We see children and families who have experienced and need support in healing from losses and stressful events, as well as children who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, or who are exhibiting concerning behaviors at home or school.

About Me

Hey there! My name is Dylan Drusedum, and I am the owner and therapist at Seed to Tree Counseling. I received my Master’s degree in Art Therapy & Counseling from Drexel University and am a licensed clinical counselor in New Mexico. I am also an Endorsed Infant Mental Health Specialist, meaning that I specialize in working together with caregivers and children 0-5 years old to support relationships and healing from stressful experiences. I have completed Phase I NMT Training, which allows me to provide NMT Brain Mapping services to children and adults. I am a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator, and provide parenting classes using this model.  My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, neurodevelopmentally driven, attachment-based, and relational in nature. From a family systems perspective, change does not happen in isolation, so I love to support growth for  whole families whenever possible. Using art and play, I support children and caregivers in finding healthy ways to regulate emotions, discovering strengths and finding shared joy, and building or repairing relationships.
